These curses do come in handy from time to time... To think, I didn't even need to actually purchase any chocolates. Not that is should deter anyone, mind you~


(ooc: canon mates, people she has talked too, people who gave her some chocolate on the curse day, and if some complete strangers want some chocolate from a cat, more than welcome to have her give some, since she got quite a hoard on the curse day)

You see~ it is pretty simple.

You've got chocolate, city.

And I've got claws.

Claws that I am not afraid to use, and don't think you can outrun me. Feel free to try, for a good chase and chocolate, well, that is even better. So if you want to keep your face as it is, you'll just hand over your chocolate and you can be on your merry way... Otherwise...

Father. I had not thought of him in ages.

... The Shihouin name was always of importance to my father, for one needed to act in accordance with one's station he said, or rather reminded me of that whenever he got the chance. After all, it was my duty and my privileged to be from one of the four noble families? He never approved of my nonchalant way of getting people to address me, for to him the -hime or -sama were always supposed to be there. To simply be called my name was a foreign concept to him. After all, was I not to be the generational head of our family, and the first (and possibly last) female to hold such a title? It wasn't that he was a cruel man, but he always had that aristocratic manner, even outside the public eye. I guess the earliest memory I have is the feeling of watchful eyes, the hard stern voice of reprimand, and the need always for formal clothes.

He died though, many years ago now, and that is probably a good thing. He never knew what happened. Has it truly been that long since I last thought of him?

Another year older, and yes, another year wiser, as the saying goes. And before you ask, it is still impolite to ask a lady her age, though I suppose if you feel the urge, you can guess. I hope you have your own health in mind when you do question such things though, or else you might not like the consequences.

That, too, includes any remarks about my thighs. Yumichika.

It's amazing what a hundred years, or so, can do to a person, especially once you stop the rigorous routine you were on for the longest time. Then again, running around like that had its drawbacks despite its gains. If you thought I was fast before, well, you've another thing coming now.

A pity little Byakuya isn't here, or Kisuke, though I guess I can play compare and contrast with some others. After all, I said I wouldn't get offended, and I'll keep my word, but I did also say I would be getting even...

That took about six days too many, though it seems that the city has finally straightened itself out. No more brains, hmm? Though everyone was a bit too slow for that...

That leaves one important pressing question now; what's your flavour~?

Reasons to be ever so thankful in this city~

• A friendly little bug for all to share... After all, there is no better way to show another person that you care than by sneezing and hacking all over them. Manners, it appears, are lacking in some.
• Removal of my favourite thing~ milk. A day, yes, but a full day without it. I'd have preferred the clothes to have been taken, but I guess the city knows that such things are not my favourite... Although I guess it was kind of the city to give it all back once the day ended... although a day without milk... Water really doesn't have quite the same thirst quenching properties that milk does; nor tea, juice, sake, 'soft drinks', coffee, Red Bull, or any thing else.
• Ichy little red spots. And before anyone says anything about cleanliness, as I do care about that, just not as much as some pompous people, I've learned that they can be spread through contact~ Think you can hide? Then by all means, say something~

Pumpkin carving. What fun, though I do wonder what I should carve into my pumpkin. Choices choices. Somehow a headless peacock just doesn't seem enough. Some ketchup for blood? Ghosts, goblins and faces, no? At least from what I've heard and heard. :< would be a pretty good imitation of Ichigo, and Halloween is supposed to be scary.

Too bad about yesterday's curse, for I heard this little saying sometime after the curse had ended. Truth, dare, double dare, promise to repeat, though the curse probably just worked with the first two, but I'll keep that in mind for next time. Of course, you could always dare someone to repeat what you said...

Teaching~! Perhaps it's time we moved past tag 'Track and Field'. I never did ask. How did yours fight, Yumichika?

By now, I am sure you have all realize being a cat isn't quite as easy as one might think. Unlike some, I am finding today's curse quite amusing.

The nose knows, or at least it is willing to tell, today.

I wonder who is cursed today, and are you going to hide? I suppose it would be a bit too much if both Byakuya and Yumichika were cursed, but a girl can wish, can't she? Then again, some people really aren't all that good at lying to begin with, nose or not. Right, Strawberry Firecrotch Ichigo~

Well now, what is this?

If someone was trying to get on my good side, I'll admit that they are doing a very good job of it today. A little milk, even in shake form, does a body good. I suggest some people take advantage of it... though if you haven't beat me in a hundred years, I think it will take at least another hundred before you even come close.

Well. I'm no Shunsui, nor do I think I should quit my day job... assuming I had one though I suppose all those wasteful days cooped inside learning proper prose haven't all poofed away. Then again, I'm sure my sensei would cringe...

And so another month comes and goes, heralding in the end of the summer season. Fall, so it goes in the human world, is just around the corner. Despite the pretty colours, can't say I'm too fond of it.

I hardly find it surprising that I can't find Omaeda around. Then again, I don't exactly know, let alone care, where all the food stands are. Better to let him stay there and keep out of my hair, literally, than suffer with his increasing ineptitude. A person of breeding should have better manners.

A pity money can't buy everything.

Soifon on the other hand. I expect better of my vice...

Unshackled, and free. Just the way I like it, or so I shall say, since cuffs should usually go on just one person's hands. I must admit not being able to do everything I wanted to was a bit troublesome, though overall, I rather enjoyed my day.

And cats? Let me tell you a few things about cats.

Cats do as they please.

Cats don't need collars.

Cats don't need leashes.

Cats don't need to be in a designated free zone to be running around your city.

No matter what people in the City say, try that again, and next time I won't keep the claws in.

I assume we are all back to normal now... though perhaps being a child was an improvement for some, especially when the threat of telling someone's grandfather was enough to make one almost behave.

A little story in light of yesterdays events, or consider it a word of warning. Despite popular belief, strangling black cats, or even black cat demons, is very risky for your health. Especially when said cat demon can skin you alive, slowly and painfully, with one claw... Of course, if you are still interested, that is your own problem. Cats have nine lives. Humans have one.

Yumichika~ I suppose I can say you know how to show a lady a good time... Not bad, for a pup.
